Mustang Paint Horse Watercolor Progress by Debbie Flood

Here I am, working on another really large watercolor. This one, also, is on a 23 x 30 sheet of 300lb Arches watercolor paper. The horse fills just about the whole paper. I've been enjoying how the paint mixes and mingles in his coat.

Most of my time has been crunching and meeting deadlines. Exhibit deadlines, Magazine ad deadlines, booth entry deadlines and so on. The life of an artist is filled with so much more than just creating the art.
The International Equine Artists Organization (that I founded in September of 2010) has been keeping my quite busy also. I'm really having fun with that group. We are up to 88 members at the moment. I also create a webpage on the IEA site if the member requests that membership level. I'm getting to see so many different styles of art and meeting the artists themselves through the virtual computer! It's a really nice addition to my studio time, to have this other art adventure.

Okay, time for me to move on to the next studio business list of to dos. Talk with you later,
Debbie
